The Trolls are a group of large, hulking two-legged creatures that primarily live in rocky or dry areas. Similar to other families, such as the Harpies, not every member of the Troll family can be considered a true troll.

While Trolls look intimidating, and have slightly higher health, they have no attacks, and move very slowly. Also, their first appearance is in the same area as the Swordsmith, meaning the player can invest in a comfortable distance from these beasts.

The common troll is a green, grotesque creature. Other than the shock of ugliness, green trolls are actually not much of a threat to most adventurers, as many are young and inexperienced. In addition, unlike more civilized races, these trolls have no discernible system or organization - each troll tends to hunt and fight for itself.

An Ogre is an older troll, whose skin has turned a deep yellow, and in all its years has spiraled into insanity. Ogres often run berserk, constantly shouting and baring their teeth.

The Minotaur is a bull-like creature. While it has the diet, more or less, of a regular bull, eating mostly grass and mushrooms, a Minotaur will often equip certain articles of clothing, if it can find one. There are some varieties of Minotaur which have access to magic, but those are quite rare, and most Minotaurs attack only with their horns or arms.

EttinEdit

The Ettin is a very rare, two headed monster. Unlike some other Trolls, an Ettin will go to excessive lengths to fulfill its desires - in rocky areas, it tends to forage an extensive number of outcrops for metals, mushrooms or other valuable goods. It is slightly more intelligent than most types of Troll, but holds large disdain for most races besides its own.

TriviaEdit

  • The Ettin derives its name from the Old English eoten, which means 'giant'.
